In case that a service is not included, the additional cost of said service is stated in the sections “Additional costs” and/or “Services” in the description.

Payment of the reservation:

You are required to pay 25% of the total price for your holiday home no later than 7 days after your booking. The remaining 75% of the rent should be paid no later than 42 days before your arrival. If there are less than 42 days to your arrival the full amount for the lodging should be paid immediately and latest 3 days after having made the booking. The payments should be done by credit card or by international bank transfer to the CH account stated on the booking confirmation. The costs of the bank transfers are on account of the tenant. Please read more in the general payment conditions.

Voucher:

You will automatically receive your voucher when you have paid the total rental amount. The voucher contains detailed information about your stay and also includes contact information to the key holder and detailed instructions on how to get to the property.

Arrival and departure times:

The rental period starts on the first day at 16.00 hours. The check-in (key delivery, payment of the cleaning and additional costs if any) has to be done between 16.00 and 19.00 hours. Departure must take place on the last day of the rental period before 10.00 hours. To obtain more information please read the “arrival and departure” section of our general booking terms.

Security deposit:

A security deposit for damages is payable at the destination when the key is received. The exact amount of the deposit is stated in each property description on the website of CH and moreover it is shown on the booking confirmation and the voucher. The security deposit must be guaranteed by a credit card in the name of the lead tenant/client and by signing the Form to pay the security deposit by credit card (click to view the form) during the check-in. The credit card is only charged if damages are made to the rented property by the tenant and his party during the stay. Read more in our (general booking terms and conditions, point 7.)

Cleaning:

The property is cleaned before your arrival. During your stay there are no cleaning services scheduled or included but upon request latest 4 weeks before arrival CH can arrange additional cleaning according to your wishes. The final cleaning on the departure day is compulsory and in most cases it is not included in the rental amount. Exact information is stated in the holiday home description and on your voucher.

Bed linen and towels:

The first set of bed linen and towels are included in the rental. Additional sets of bed linen and towels can be ordered in the booking form when you make your reservation. Read more on the page Services. Please note that the use of beds without bed linen is not allowed.

Allergy:

We can not guarantee that cats, dogs or other pets have not been in the holiday homes even in the cases where pets are not allowed. The house owner or third persons can have brought their own pets along although we do our utmost to prevent this from happening. You also have to be aware that the holiday house, especially during the shoulder seasons may have been vacant for a longer period. Therefore the climate in the house can be humid, but this will disappear after about a day of heating/airing.

BBQ:

Some of the holiday homes have a garden grill/BBQ. If you choose to use it please remember to clean it for the next client. CH does not assume any responsibility for the standard and cleanliness of available grills/BBQs. Upon arrival the key holder will inform you regarding eventual fire risks in the area prohibiting the use of garden grills/BBQs.

Water:

You can drink the water from the tap, but we recommend that you buy it due to its chlorine taste. Normally the water consumption is included in the rental price but we encourage you to be conscious about the consumption during your stay as water is a scarce resource in Spain.
